Periodically, United REMC has used poles that have been weathered or broken in an accident, and are no longer serviceable. The poles are available first-come, first-served basis. You must bring your own saw to cut them, as well as equipment and manpower to load them.

It is best to call ahead to see if we have any used poles available. Just call the office during regular business hours.

When you stop by to get the poles, you will be required to sign a “Treated Wood Release Form.” In addition, you will be given a consumer safety information sheet, since the poles have been preserved by pressure-treatment with an EPA registered pesticide.
